Bug Out Bag Survival Items
These items are suggestions and do not necessarily represent everything you should have for any particular survival situation. Consider this list a good start in putting together a survival kit for yourself. I would be remiss if I said that here is all you need. In putting together a bug out bag or survival kit, use your own judgment and anticipate what you will have to deal with if you are forced to use a bug out bag. If this list gets you thinking about what you need, then it has done it's job. Also consider that many items can have multiple uses.

Our recommendation for a pocket sized survival kit is the Pocket Survival Pakā¢. It has all the essentials you need to stay alive in an emergency situation. Fits right in any pocket and can be with you always. Comes with complete survival instructions on how to use each piece of equipment.
I highly recommend that you have one of these for each person you are preparing for. Keep them at the top of your bug out bag and when you open it, hand them out. Have everyone keep on their person.
