Duct Tape for All Repairs

When you are miles from civilization, you depend on your gear to get you back home safely. Even the best gear though can break or fail. Duct tape is the ultimate repair tool. From patching holes in your tent to closing a wound, duct tape will do the job. You get 100 inches of industrial strength duct tape in each package. Each 50 inch roll is small enough to fit into your pocket, so it will always be there when you need it.

There is no excuse for not including duct tape in every survival kit you assemble. It is in your vehicle emergency kit to facilitate quick repairs to get you back on the road. It is in your home emergency kit to help remove bee stings and immobilize wounded limbs. It is in your bug out bag to put on your feet to prevent blisters and to wrap around cast iron pan handles to prevent burns

Bear in mind though that while 100 inches sounds like a lot, you can go through that rather quickly in an emergency. For example, you could easily go through several feet just to repair a water hose in your car's engine. Given the overall small size of the rolls, you can easily fit several in each of your kits. Better to have more than you need than not quite enough to do the job.
